New updates to Nudge® Score
Last spring, we rolled out the preliminary version of our Nudge® Score functionality, leveraging AI and machine learning to improve predictability on how push notifications you are composing now might perform when they go live. Since that time, the model has been tweaked a few times. It also retrains itself every Sunday based on the engagement rates for the hundreds of thousands of nudges that go out each month.
We’ve recently updated the model to specifically scan for call-to-action words as well as the presence of emoji characters. Both of these elements have been shown to create higher levels of engagement. Changing a passive title to a more active one can help drive more account holders to your landing page!

Fraud awareness campaign
We’ve offered the power to engage account holders through a campaign of coordinated messages delivered over a customizable cadence for a few years now. We added the Campaign Gallery to provide some out-of-the-box content for inclusion in your messaging strategy or as inspiration for other use cases. We recently updated the gallery to include a campaign designed to help educate account holders about fraud mitigation strategies - a prevalent and, unfortunately, timely topic these days.
If you already have a page on your website, as many of our customers do, highlighting actions your members or customers can take or things they should avoid in order not to fall victim to fraudsters, you’re one step away from a new way to promote it. All you need to do is plug that page’s URL into the new campaign, and you're ready to start driving more visitors to that resource! Use AI to write your nudges!
We already have many anecdotal stories demonstrating the ease with which our clients can get out timely and effective communications with the nudge® platform. Composing a push notification can take just a minute or two, and that message can be on your account holders’ phones just a minute or two after that. But soon, we’ll be making it even easier!
By providing just a couple of words describing your topic, the platform will leverage AI to give you several high-quality push notification titles and bodies. Pick one of each, tweak them as you see fit, and your new message is ready to go! In fact, we used an early version of this same technology to compose the fraud awareness campaign mentioned above!

iOS library update for Apple's privacy manifest policy
As mentioned in our fall library release update, Apple has announced an update to one of their privacy-related policies for apps utilizing certain functionality, including that found in the nudge® platform. This is a minor update, requiring some additions to the privacy manifest file already included in our library. We updated our legacy library in September and will soon be porting that into our newer nudge Base and nudge Geo libraries. We’ll post a notification in the Announcements section of our online help center when that is available.
