We’ve outlined the best practices for easily managing user access and adhering to password reset policies to ensure optimal security and efficiency. Admins will easily manage user access in Organization Settings under My Account. Periodically review your Larky users and their access levels to ensure that each user has the appropriate level of access for their role within the organization.
Avoid Sharing Personal Login Credentials
Sharing personal login credentials is not recommended from a security standpoint. Each user should have their unique login credentials to maintain accountability and control. There is no limit to the number of Larky users; you can have as many as you like with specified permissions. Here is an article on how to add a new user.
Assigning User Permissions
When adding a new user, consider the appropriate permissions View, Edit, or Admin level access. View level of access is suitable for individuals who need visibility into the platform's activities without actively managing or modifying anything. Edit level of access is ideal for team members responsible for managing campaigns, creating content, or adjusting settings based on organizational needs. Admin level access has complete control over the platform, including managing users, accessing all settings and configurations, and making changes to editable content.
Implementing Two-factor Authentication
Enabling two-factor authentication for all user accounts adds an extra layer of security. Two-factor authentication significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if login credentials are compromised. Here is an article on how to reset a user's two-factor authentication.
Password Reset Policies
Larky support will first direct users to their admin to reset portal user passwords to stay vigilant against social engineering attempts. The security of client information is our top priority. Encourage users to create unique passwords and avoid reusing them across multiple platforms. Here is an article on how to reset a user's password.
Editing User Access
One constant in business is change. The Admin(s) can edit all users if user information or permissions need to be changed. Have a process for promptly revoking access for users who leave the organization or change roles. Disable or delete user accounts and revoke access permissions to prevent unauthorized access to company resources. Here is an article on how to edit user access.
