Testing ensures your nudges are working effectively and that Larky is integrated correctly with your mobile banking app. Below, we’ve outlined the process and best practices for setting up testers and conducting testing.
Device Requirements
To conduct testing, you will need:
- At least 1 iOS device
- At least 1 Android device
If you can't source both device types, the Larky team can help with testing since we have access to the necessary devices.
Nudges to Test
During testing, we recommend focusing on:
- Alert Messages: These are immediate, time-sensitive notifications.
- Location Messages: These are location-based notifications tied to a specific location.
Note: Campaign nudges are alert messages with a longer lifespan. Testing campaigns is not necessary as their functionality mirrors that of alert messages.
Setting Up Testers For Success
When selecting testers, keep the following in mind:
- Choose a location convenient for all testers to ensure smooth testing logistics.
- Schedule test nudges in advance and notify testers of the planned testing times for efficiency.
During Testing
- Nudge Delivery: Some testers may not receive nudges due to device-specific issues. The production app and a test application being uninstalled and reinstalled can sometimes cause interference.
- Troubleshooting: If testers encounter issues with nudge delivery, refer to our Troubleshooting article. If problems persist after following the guide, contact your Larky implementation team or email support@larky.com.
