Mobile library updates
This fall saw some significant updates to our mobile libraries!
Earlier this quarter, we released an update to our Android library that ensures compatibility with the most recent version of Google’s Android 13. See this announcement for more information!
In addition, to complement the nudge Base library released last spring we now have the nudge Geo library. Together this pair of libraries will serve as the new foundation for integrations in mobile banking applications. Read the full announcement here.
2-Factor authentication for portal logins
As mentioned last time, we added dual factor authentication to the portal in order to enhance your security around the system. The device registration process is quick and easy and kicks off automatically whenever a new portal user logs in for the first time.
User management
Portal administrators now have more control over who at their organization has access to the nudge platform and what actions they can take there. We have a full guide here documenting all the details.
Feature tiering
As we continue to build out functionality in the platform we recognize that some clients might want to start with a simpler messaging strategy and grow into a more sophisticated one later. As such we are introducing two levels of functionality: nudge® Basic, offering targeted data-driven messaging campaigns supported with basic analytics, and nudge® Engage, our premium offering enabling dynamic campaigns driven by integrated segmentation capabilities and advanced analytics.
All current clients are automatically receiving the full nudge® Engage functionality.
Portal functionality updates
Very recently we added two popular features requested by experienced users: Dynamic segmentation and the ability to clone existing nudges. Previously, once a segment was created its members were fixed. Now you can choose to have that membership automatically refreshed daily. This enables ongoing campaigns targeting a given segment to be kicked off automatically for new members as they are added to the segment. There are many other use-cases for this enhancement, and our client success team is happy to discuss those with you!
Finally, it’s now easy to duplicate an existing nudge and use it as the foundation of a new message. You can do this with current, active nudges, as well as archived and draft nudges. Just click the new Clone button when viewing the list of your nudges!
