Uploading analytics results from the nudge® Portal to the Lumin platform is a quick and easy process, and can be used to retarget messaging recipients with further communications in other channels.
A few details about analytics files
Each row in an analytics file downloaded from the portal represents the delivery of a single nudge® message (represented by the message_name, message_description, message_title, and message_body columns), at a specific date and time (date_received, time_received) by a specific member (represented by the federation_id). If the member tapped the message, that is indicated as well.
The federation_id is a unique identifier for each member from the Lumin system. This is the key to linking nudge® message recipients with member details found in the Lumin platform.
If you don't already have a downloaded CSV file from the portal, do that by clicking Download Analytics from the Analytics Dashboard.
Select members to upload
- Open the downloaded file in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Filter the results, by date, nudge name, tapped status or any combination of those!
- Copy the filtered list of values in the federation_id column.
- Paste those values into a new file, and save it with a CSV extension.
- Proceed to the Lumin platform
Inside the Lumin platform
- Here, the file will be uploaded when you reach the Targets step when defining a campaign in the Marketing section.
- Select Upload User List for the Target Type.
- Select User IDs (UUID format) under File Contains.
- Upload your new file with the federation_id values.
- Proceed with completing your campaign definition
