Larky supports tap-to-call nudges to create a seamless and user-friendly experience. Tap-to-call is ideal for encouraging immediate action when a phone call is the next best step, eliminating the need for users to exit the app or look up contact details.
How tap-to-call works
When a recipient taps on a push notification containing a tap-to-call command, their device automatically initiates a phone call to the number provided. This functionality is especially useful in scenarios where urgency or convenience is critical.
How to add a tap-to-call to a nudge
Add a tap-to-call command to your nudge:
- Format the phone number using the tel: command.
- For example, enter the URL as tel:18001234567.
- This should be placed in the Web Link URL field when creating the nudge.
📌 Tip: To ensure compatibility across devices, avoid using spaces, dashes, or parentheses in the phone number.
